BENEATH BROKEN STARS

Robert Goodson

Songs of Surrender, Survival & Restoration

Some roads we choose. Others change our lives without warning.

Beneath Broken Stars is a deeply personal journey through life's unexpected turns, emotional exhaustion, spiritual battles, and the unwavering faithfulness of God.

Through eleven powerful songs, Robert Goodson invites listeners into the moments when familiar ground disappears, strength begins to fade, and the questions become louder than the answers.

From the unexpected disruption of "The Road I Didn't Choose" and "EXIT" to the vulnerability of "MY NOW," "Throw In The Towel," and "God, I Have Reached the End," the album explores what happens when a believer reaches the limits of human strength.

Yet even beneath broken stars, God's presence remains.

Blending Southern gospel-soul, Muscle Shoals influences, contemporary gospel, neo-soul, blues, and smooth jazz, Robert's rich, mature vocals bring depth, honesty, and lived experience to every song.

As the album moves through desperation, rescue, and restoration, listeners discover that surrender is not defeat. Sometimes, it is the beginning of healing.

Closing with "The Road Ahead," the journey offers a powerful reminder that although we cannot always choose what happens to us, we can choose whom we trust as we move forward.

The road may have broken your plans, but it could not cancel God's purpose.
